We provide a specialized unit dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of our U of M retirement plan participants. Since we’re conveniently located in downtown St. Paul, our Specialists are available to meet with you in person to discuss your retirement plan benefits and the options you have at retirement for drawing from your retirement plan account. These meetings are provided free of charge for any University of Minnesota plan participant.

Our Specialists will review your account prior to the appointment and offer information to assist with:

• Distribution options including lump-sum withdrawals and systematic withdrawals
  
• Minimum Required Distributions
  
• Beneficiary Designations
  
• Annuities
  

Even if you are years away from retirement, our Specialists can answer questions and provide information about your plan including:

• Changing your account allocation or making transfers between investment options.
  
• Information on additional retirement plans to increase your retirement savings.
  
• Information on plan loans, beneficiary designations, and transfers from other U of M plan providers.
